Amitabh Bachchan Shares His Thoughts On Shammi Kapoor
Amitabh Bachchan, who was friends with deceased Shammi Kapoor and was seen teary-eyed at his funeral, tweets sombre thoughts remembering the actor.
“Miss a birthday, a wedding, but never a funeral, an advice given by a friend. Seeing the turnout at Shammi ji’s confirmed my opinion,” the megastar tweeted.
“It is an irony of life that one person is able to collect an entire industry only when he is not there to notice it!” the star observed.

She has been shooting back to back for her Telugu and Tamil projects and has also been very busy with SINGHAM. And so just to unwind, post the success of SINGHAM, Kajal wanted to treat herself. She has gone for a nice vacation to Paris and Nice with her friends. She is having a lot of fun there and plans to return soon and start with her new projects. Post SINGHAM, she is being considered for a lot of big projects in Bollywood.”

Minissha Lamba Regards Anna Hazare As Second Gandhi
Minissha Lamba, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade were in their element at apromotional video shoot of a song number for Hum Tum Shabana, the hilarious flick helmed by Sagar Ballary.
The mood, however, turned all somber at the suburban Mumbai venue when social crusader Anna Hazare was mentioned. “Anna Hazare is the second Gandhiji that India needs,” asserted Minissha Lamba. “It is the constitutional right of any Indian citizen to peacefully protest against what they feel is injustice. If the Government is not allowing Anna Hazare to do that, what is the point of being a citizen of the largest democracy in world, if one cannot exercise that right.”
Added she significantly, “It’s time we have a Government that respects our Constitution and grants us our basic rights. Anna Hazare’s fight is against injustice. It’s the fight of the common man of India and Anna Hazare’s fight surely affects him.”
Imran Khan - The Love Guru Of Real Life
Actor Imran Khan, who plays the role of ‘Kush’, a Dehradun based boy who starts off on a search for a bride for his reel life brother Ali Zafar in Yash Raj productions venture Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is actually a love guru in real life, said the actor recently.
“After being with a girl for nine years (Avantika), I have an insight into how to keep a relationship going and my friends are forever asking me for advice on that,” Imran Khan was quoted to have said in an interview.
Imran Khan was also reportedly quite wary about taking up the role of Kush in the forthcoming romantic comedy. Khan felt that as he was a very shy person, playing the role of a youth who embarks on a journey to hunt for a bride for his brother was quite a tough task for him. Director Ali Abbas Zafar (not to be confused with co-star Ali Zafar) however managed to convince Imran Khan that he could pull it off and that the film would present a very different side of Imran Khan’s personality.

Digital Posters For Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger
Yash Raj Films is once again on its way to set a trend in motion as they release the digital poster of their forthcoming movie EK THA TIGER.
It is for the first time that a movie poster shall be released on the digital medium and excitement has already risen to a pitch.
EK THA TIGER will feature hunk Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif as its lead actors and is a YRF romantic-thriller set for a release on the 1st June, 2012. It is the first Bollywood movie to release a digital poster.
Is Priyanka Creating Problems Between Shahrukh & Gauri?
They say two’s a company and three a crowd. And the age old saying seems to be haunting superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is said to be having a rift of sorts with wife of two decades, Gauri Khan.

Additional Police Protection Provided To Amitabh Bachchan
Police cover has been beefed up for Amitabh Bachchan. About two dozen additional policemen have been deployed today outside Bachchan’s homes, Prateeksha and Jalsa.
The additional deployment is a precautionary measure to tackle any law and order issues which may arise in the wake of the release of Prakash Jha’s controversial film, Aarakshan. The film releases tomorrow, August 12. Mr Bachchan stars in the film, along with Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Manoj Bajpai.
Police have also been deployed outside Saif Ali Khan’s home as a precautionary measure..
16 Slaps In A Row From Katrina To Imran
Bollywood actor Imran Khan got slapped 16 times — and that too by his co-star Katrina Kaif!
Before one draws any conclusions, Imran had to go through the torture for a scene in their upcoming film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, releasing September 9.
The romantic comedy, helmed by debutant director Ali Abbas Zafar, had a scene where Katrina had to slap Imran. But to the actor’s misfortune, Katrina took more than 16 takes to get the slap right!
‘We did that scene 16 times… 16 takes and finally the packup happened,’ Imran told reporters here.
‘Next day when I came onto the sets for the next scene, I was told that Katrina is not very happy with the scene that we did yesterday so she wants to shoot it again, only the slapping part. So we did more takes,’ he added.
